ZX BASIC Wars Mac OS
Sinclair hardware is very widely emulated. Emulators exist for virtually every platform, and more are released on a very regular basis. Unless otherwise noted in the description, all emulators listed in each section are Freeware.
Please note that some emulators have Multiface 128 emulation, but do not supply the Multiface ROM because it is copyrighted and the authors require a license fee to be paid. However, Z80 and Spectaculator do include this ROM because their authors have licensed it from the current owners, Romantic Robot.
A short list of emulators of other systems, including the MK-14, QL, Jupiter Ace, ZX80 and ZX81 is also provided, as is a list of emulators available in languages other than English.

I love Basic, I used ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, PC XT, 286,386,486,P1,PII,PIII and P4 lots of Basics, GWBasic,QBasic, Visual Basic 1,4,6 and.NET and now Real Basic on My Power Mac G4@1.5 Ghz. Zxsp Mac OS X, Source Code zxsp is a simulator for the historic Sinclair ZX home computer family for Mac OS X. Versions for classic MacOS and old versions of Mac OS X are available from the Old versions/ directory.
- In Mac OS 9, the System Folder was the OS. Except for a few invisible files (such as the Desktop files), all OS files were in the System Folder where they were easily accessible. In Mac OS X, the entire Unix layer remains largely invisible from the Aqua Finder. Thus, Mac OS X has a sort of secondary OS underneath the visible OS.
- Star Wars games have gone through three significant development eras: early licensed games (1979-1993), games developed after the creation of LucasArts (1993-2013), and games created after the closure of LucasArts (2014–present), which are currently licensed to Electronic Arts, and include an EA Star Wars logo. Note: M.E.S.S. - the Multi Emulator Super System includes ZX Spectrum emulation. No ROM images are included with the download package, but these can be easily located. The Timex TS2068 and TC2048 models are also emulated, which is very uncommon.
