This is an Asteroids-type game I made back in 2002. I found the original downloads and am re-releasing it on itch.io for posterity. You will need a classic Mac or install an emulator (see install instructions) to get this game to run.

Sorry you're running into some issues! Do you have a bug report or does it just crash to your desktop? What version of Mac OS are you running? The game does autosave, by the way! They're kept under the 'A' tab in the saved games menu. Apple released version 10.11 of Mac OS X titled El Capitan on September 30, 2015. Whenever a new operating system is released, we start gathering as much information as we can as to how your current software and hardware will interact with the new OS. While some companies are able to resolve any issues right away, others may take longer. I found though some issues. I don't know much about Itch.Io but I'm sure if this was a virus it would have been removed by now. • Pilot your spacecraft through a storm of asteroids and space debris.
• Your ship is manoeuvrable but vulnerable, so take care! You have a shield and an afterburner, but both consume a lot of energy, so you can only use them in carefully timed bursts.
• Grab various weapon upgrades and nuclear missiles.
• Find the alien saucers that are directing the stream of asteroids and engage them in combat. They're quite tricky and will dodge in and out of range.

Install instructions

If you have a working Mac OS 9 install, just download the .sit file, extract it, and run the game.

If you don't, you can download and install a Mac OS 9 emulator from here, or from the downloads section. Once you've set it up, transfer the .sit file into the emulator by dropping it into MacOS9.exe and waiting for 30 seconds. It should appear on the desktop of the emulator, where you can extract and play it.

Do not extract the .sit file in a non-OS 9 file system. The extraction will be incomplete and the game will fail to run.

What the heck is this?
-This is a guide for installing the kid's computer game U.B. Funkeys. It's quite a confusing task on how exactly to install the game nowadays, hence why this guide was made.

I'm having a Flash Player error!
-Go to this link and select your OS as 'Windows 7/XP/Vista' and version as 'FP 32 for Internet Explorer - ActiveX. Download and run the installer, and it should clear up any issues.(1/15/21 Edit: Most, if not all Flash installs are dead due to Flash's End of Life. Consider installing OpenFK to fix this.)

I found a problem with your guide/have a suggestion for your guide, how can I reach you?
-Either through the community Discord, or commenting on the guide's Reddit thread. Alternatively, you can leave a comment, but I rarely check this itch account. I suggest the first two methods if it's an urgent matter.
