Bouncing Billy Mac OS
Bounce for Mac beta Note, it Might run on the latest Mac OSX: El Capitan - as it uses the latest wineskin. I have three reports so far, for one user it worked fine. For another it didn't run, and for another user it ran but played too many notes, not in time, and then froze and could only be closed by a hard reboot. AIM and ICQ both bounce for me. I don't use AIM to frequently so I'm not sure if it does still bounce under 10.2.1, mine did under 10.2 ICQ does still bounce in 10.2.1. I wonder if it's a pref somewhere, it does get rather annoying at times for some people. A slick, carefully crafted follow-up to his debut, Rebel Yell was Billy Idol’s catchiest, most consistent fusion of synth-driven new wave pop and hard rock guitar pyrotechnics (courtesy of Steve Stevens).
- Some apps like VLC, Skype etc. They show up in the dock and starts to bounce, but all they do is keep on bouncing for 1-2 minutes. I started up my Mac in SafeMode and then the applications worked just fine! So i think its some thirdparty application that messes with my apps. Have you tried reinstalling Safari? I know sometimes if I have trouble with an app not executing I will reinstall it. It's worth a shot. What version of Safari are you trying to run? What do you have as far as login items loading on startup? That could be using RAM. Are you running Firefox 4? If you're really having difficulties you could back up your data to an external drive and do a complete fresh install. I would zero out the drive and install. There is also a shareware program called iFreemem that will free up memory on the fly. I use it from time to time. If at some future date you can afford it a RAM upgrade would help of course. I have a 2008 iMac 2.4Ghz Core Duo that I upgraded to 4GB of RAM. I bought Avant RAM which is decent I think. It cost me 120.00 dollars. It's tough with only 1GB. Hope this helps.
